Recently on a Tuesday night, we sat together in the Parish Hall and told each other the truth.
You told us the worship and music moves you. That you want to be known, not just recognized. That the welcome you feel in the pews doesn't always make it to the front door. That your faith is real, and you want more help living it out on Monday to Saturday.
That is the gift of the Holy Cow survey. Not just data, but honesty. And you gave us both in abundance.

Here is the short version of what we heard:
The Foundation Is Strong and we cannot afford to take it for granted.
Welcoming Others Is Our Biggest Gap - we bottom 15% nationally on hospitality to newcomers, even as attracting young families is our #1 stated priority.
People Want to Be Known & Cared For - presence matters more than programs.
Our Faith Needs to Come Alive Together - personal faith is deep here; communal spiritual growth is our greatest opportunity.
Now Is the Time to Act - this window won't stay open forever.
The vestry and I cannot close these gaps alone. You are the ministers of this church.

Join or start a Formation Group this fall - this is where faith meets real life.
Join Neighbors in Christ, our pastoral care team. You don't have to be clergy to show up for someone.
