GOD,
help us here on holy ground where generations meet –
with those who have renewed themselves for decades in this spiritual home
and those still glistening with the waters of baptism.
Help us find a way to thank you, God, for our church
and our moment of decision here between builders
generations ago and apostles in centuries to come.
May your love fill this place and its people
as we claim our calling as its stewards.
And may we use all your grace and gifts,
seen and unseen, new and old,
to bear your timeless word from this hill
to higher hills of service in Christ’s name.
