  Sermon File Format Information

File Sizes

These can be fairly large files- so please be patient.
The Realplayer files are always the smallest (5-10 MB) and are probably the best if you're on a dial-up connection. The mp3 & ogg files are larger (10-20 MB) and better quality for those with a high-speed connection. The mp4 video files are the largest (25-75 MB)
.

Video Formats

The video files are in mp4 format.
The easiest way to view them is to download and install QuickTime on your computer.

Please Note:
Some people have found audio/video sync problems using Quicktime 7 on Windows XP to play these files. This is a problem with QuickTime and we are researching a fix and/or other formats to use. In the meantime the easiest fixes are to either use the VLC Media Player or downgrade to Quicktime 6.5.2.

The free, standalone version of Quicktime for various operating systems can be downloaded from the following links:

QuickTime 7 for Windows XP/2000
QuckTime 6.5.2 for Windows 98/ME

QuickTime 7 for Mac OSX 10.3.9 or later
QuickTime 6.5.2 for Mac OSX below 10.3.9
QuickTime 6.0.3 for Mac OS 8.6 - 9.x

For Linux users, or those wishing to use an Open Source viewer, the excellent, cross-platform VLC Media Player is highly recommended.
