Yesterday, we arrived at Chichester after a day spent at Stonehenge and lovely historic Winchester. Have already rehearsed this morning at Chichester for the choral eucharist this evening. All are in good spirits as we approach our final few days on tour.

Here are more photos from the last few days, with 2 recordings from Wells on Wednesday to follow.

Salisbury Day 2

This place is so beautiful. I wish you could all be here with us. Yesterday after Evensong, the Canon Precentor invited us to return to Salisbury Cathedral and stay for a week! We will attach some pictures and audio clips from last night's service soon. The choir sounded fantastic! You would all be so proud. All are happy and healthy.

UPDATE # 1

Dear Folks back at CC,

All is going smashingly here in England. We have just concluded 3 days
of fun in London.

Day 1: Windsor Castle was fantastic. After we went there to see the
state apartments, etc, we checked into the BP House in London. I think
all would agree that we are not going to be terribly upset to leave
this BP House, but we are going to miss London.

Day 2: Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Tower of
London, etc. Tried to go to Evensong at St. Paul's, but the choir had
backed out at the last minute. We tried to volunteer to sing Evensong,
but they wouldn't let us at the last minute!

Day 3: Highlight so far: Choral Eucharist, in the Quire and Sanctuary
area of Westminster Abbey. A great men and boys choir from New Zealand
sang the service. Staggeringly moving to worship in that holy place.
Lunch was followed by Evensong at Southwark. Decent choir. Then the
kids and chaperons and I went to the HARD ROCK CAFE!

Tomorrow we are off to Salisbury to sing our first service.

We promise to upload pictures tomorrow!

All the kids are fine, healthy, safe and very happy. Their British
accents are getting quite convincing!
